Style
Worship is deeply important to us, but we feel it should be most satisfying to God. We are sure that if we worship well, everything else should fall into place. Worship should balance celebration and reverence, and seek to blend creativity and freshness. There is a thoughtful mix of music, prayer and scripture in an atmosphere of love for God and consideration of others around us. Our worship tone is relaxed, but not careless. Participation is wide-ranging – adults, teens and children. When worship services end, we want to know we have glorified God and have enjoyed His presence.

If you are looking for a contemporary praise service, join us for Reach at 10:45 AM each Sunday.

Wednesday evenings are for Wednesday Night Live!

Every Wednesday we have a pot-luck dinner followed by a time of learning and living for all ages. We supply the meat you bring the sides or dessert.

This week:

Joseph marks The Spot for Middle and High School to be with a message and live band courtesy of Erik, Evan, Ian and Chelsea.

Pastor Tommy leads the adults in a study of the book of Genesis.

Children in Worship
We want children to attend worship each week with their families to begin learning and experiencing the variety of ways to express our praise and adoration to God. Kids 4 years old through fifth grade are treated to outstanding children’s worship programs during both services. Smaller classes for each age group meet from 9 - 10:30.  The Bright Life shines on young lives from 10:45 - 11:45. Kids learn about the different aspects of the service from their viewpoint with puppets, videos, Bible stories, songs, prayer, arts and crafts and play. Our leaders teach them in fun and creative ways about who God is, what he has done for us and how they can have a personal relationship with him.

Music in Worship
Our Traditional Worship service is enhanced by a pleasant blend of uplifting praise and the best-loved hymns in Christian tradition.
The Contemporary Praise service is a celebration of our our Lord with music lead by the live praise band and signers.
In each service we want a symphony of sound to praise God and augment the service. . We think Christians should sing, not because they have a voice, but because they have a song.

Arranged choral music in our worship ranges from an adult choir, a mixed ensemble, a Men’s Chorus and Women’s Chorus along with various other groups. Children also rehearse music regularly in order to take part in our worship services. We strive to provide meaningful expressions of worship through song.

Preaching
Preaching is crucial to developing disciples and it has a prominent place in our worship. On September 1, 2008 Dr. Thomas W. Nance accepted the call as our Pastor and now teaches the Word. Learn more about Pastor Tommy and Diane.
